For my Daughter....

You defined love to me,
When I was about to loose faith in myself...

In your own way you cared for me,
When I had stopped caring for myself...

I carried you for nine months, they say
But you carried me in ur heart always...

You made my life bright in every way
A Smile comes automatically on my face...

You are that angel who kept playing hide and seek
But now I know with you I will never be weak...

May God give you the strength to fight the odds
And the courage to bless the evens

I will always love you
For the day and moments to come

As you will be my baby
Always and forever to come....

Happy happy 2nd Birthday my munchkin....my sweetheart... My Darling Daughter..... Saajiri Sachin Kshamata Lad ...

Re-Union 2015

From the dawn of the new year, we the batchmates of 2001 were just heading for a grand plan.. a grand plan to meet all our batch mates, teachers... The thought was just elating. Everyone was super excited. Partially because we were going to meet each other after 14 long years (Sounds like vanvaas.. read furtther to understand why I am stating so.) and Partially because it was happening in the same building same premise where we met friendship and meant it tooo...

Slowly as the days were passing by it was creating a different environment amongst all of us. Whats app really proved to be a boon in this. Or I will say it was the modern age 'Dove'.. who for the first time carried messages across boundaries of loved friends... Everyday before the Grand Reunion Day, the smart phone used to mortgage its smartness in front of KES school group. 5 minutes 500 messages on an average, Some complained of mobile draining out of battery, system hang but neither the senders stopped sending nor the receivers left group. I think the reason may be everyone wanted to just be a part of It. Part of it. Finally the Day Arrived.

The Time was set, 6pm, few extra excited friends arrived at the venue since 2pm. That day nothing could stop us in our houses. Saturday it was, 21st February and slowly by 5pm eveyone started gathering... Every face that reached the school gate was having smile in their eyes. We were happy corner to corner. After few friends gathered, My heart started beating fast, as I had just seen my Social Studies teacher "Rukmini Mam". I couldnot believe my eyes. She was still the same. I wanted to just keep looking at her and be there for eternity but the time and event were calling me for other requirements. The evening proceeded further and all the teachers gathered in the school ground. I was feeling as if the stars have gathered in our horizon. One shining more brightly than the other. After some time, I got a call from one of my friend, those words still ring in my ears "Somebody is waiting for you at the gate of our school.. Come fast".  That very moment I knew my living inspiration has arrived "Bhase Teacher". The moment cannot be compared with anything else. I was just feeling heavenly to see her after so many years. I was just watching her forgetting everything. Everything. Suddenly the music in the ground brought me back to senses. Event started and  I was just lost in my own thoughts, I was doing all that was needed to be done, but on the other hand was thinking about my last day in school... the day we all parted. Who had thought we would be meeting again in the same place in this way. While singing Vande Mataram and Pledge, Tears actually rolled my eyes. While we gave mementos to the teachers they were beaming but inside our hearts we all were shivering. Shivering with pride for we could give some reason to smile to our teachers. The greatest surprise lied ahead when all the teachers who taught us actually knew us by our name and all the characteristics we possessed. It was just going through a time capsule.

And then suddenly it all came to end.. teachers were slowly leaving to have dinner. My friends too wanted to just dance over and I wanted to stand their catching my feet as tight as possible to the ground. I wanted to go again upstairs and sit their lectures. I wanted to hear Rukmini mam scold. I wanted to hear Bhase teacher explain marathi poem. I wanted to hear Renuka teacher explain in detail. I wanted all this in that one day. Suddenly I felt as if I am standing at the beach and as hard I am trying to fix my feet on the sand as fast it is rolling beneath my feet. I could only gather memories.

Memories of happy faces of my friends, tired faces of few, elated and happy faces of teachers to see their kids grow in such amplitude. In true sense I now feel it was Reunion... Remembering our selves about our Union with School and School friends. Last to conclude the evening came the dance, the song never mattered. What mattered was just staying close to friends.

To sign off I just remember few lines,
You taught me life, you taught me friendship
You were a part of all my hardship
Sometimes bitter, Many a times Sweet
The day spent with you no one can beat
You are friend and will always be
In your eyes true friendship I see
To all the Kiddies you stay in the heart
14 years is just a small part.......

Love you all my school friends.................... Batch 2001.

It is not a class But it has a CLASS of its own.

We often get attached to school because we spend 10 years there. But have you ever heard of attaching to a place by just spending barely 6 months there. Yes, I am talking about Medha Tutions, a class for all your commerce complications. I got officially acquainted with the class in 2005 when I was in TYBMS. I along with my two friends, Sayali and Priyanka had come to enquire about Financial Management. At the very first instance, I was a little unsure, as every place was turning us down. We were prepared to hear a No here as well. And here awaited a climax for us.
The moment Shailesh Sir, Proprietor of Medha Tuitions, heard our college timings and our request that we would require a separate batch, he instantly agreed. That was the first time, I realized, this the learning here is going to be different. Every lecture was dealt with different technique. The best quality about teaching that I learnt from Sir, and that was "Never get irritated with Students Doubts and Queries". This further helped me in my career as well. In the process of learning, every student is not only learning his subjects but also gets an overall professional enrichment. Here, I got the  confidence to deliver lecture to students. Its all about the quality time spent in the class. Sir has an unique style of explaining things to students. He deals with students of different age groups in different style. When he is teaching the novice i.e. XI standard students he is explaining with building analogies. Whereas, when he comes to teach the learners i.e. Masters program, he is building different set of analogies. Once we come here, we stay there till the day ends. We study, have fun. Its all having Edutainment - Education + Entertainment. Planning for Annual Function is something about 3 months long process where our homes forget us for 3 months. As said earlier, I was officially only there for 6 months, but after 2005, till my marriage day, I don't remember a day that is spent going without to this blissful place. It was in the class, I learnt to professionally compeer.  The start to my teaching career was from here only. This place explained me the joy of giving. Joy of sharing knowledge. A place where I learnt Accounts, the most tedious subject for me. I was a student first then started teaching in my class. I could not only be a teacher, so came back in the student fraternity. In the year 2013, I planned to complete my Second Masters - Master Of Commerce (Accountancy and Finance). I did complete it with glorifying first class. Yes, it is glorifying for me as apart from Shailesh Sir and Medha Tutions, for a Science Student getting a Master in Commerce with First Class was a rare dream. A place where I learnt how to teach. My organization skills, leadership skills were sharpened here.  A place where friendship was defined and had its own meaning. I learnt a lot here, few concepts from text book, few others that were not found in any book. Now when I look back, I got an undying bond from Class - A bond of Friendship from Akshada, Vihang, Bhavesh, Vinod, Mandar, Madhavi (Tagged as Haushi Kalakaar by Vihang). I also tried to acronym brand our bond, "AViBhaViManMaKsha". It is in the same order as written before with addition of my name in the last.
AViBhaViManMaKsha (In the order from left, Mandar, Akshada, Madhavi, Bhavesh, Down seated Vinod and on top of all our heads Vihang :)... the youngest amongst us.)
Now when I sit to write All this, letters fall short to explain what all I got from Medha Tutions.
Today I am Head of Department - Mass Media in Birla College, whatever I teach, say or do is all a priceless gift from Medha Tutions. My growth plan can be explained in a very sweet way, Student - Teacher and then back as Student. Our Punchline rightly suits us, It is not a class, yes it is not a class but definitely has a class of its own.

Train the next generation mall..

Train receives a place of honor in every Mumbaikars life. Be it a student who has to catch a fast train 2nd class compartment or be it a service man who runs for a window seat in the train. In Mumbai, it is most widely grown social network. At a particular time in a particular compartment, a group will always be waiting for their co members.

Train is now not just a mode of transport. It has successfully transformed itself to a shopping arena. From hairpin to sanitary napkin you get everything. The best part about the shopping is it catches you in your relaxed time. Now, leave aside the rush hours, but otherwise, the trains are fixed with commuters. It is a great platform for the unorganized sector which strives closely to 60% of the industry. The shopping areas are getting mobile day by day. One can also visualize the advent of organized sector into the train area. If the train sector finally lands up in the hands of private players, there is a great chance of big players entering into retail market and converting train as mall destination.

Thus, one day if you happen to find a Mac D inside a compartment don’t get surprised. It is just beginning of new ERA of retail – for train – For India.

Father – Daughter: A Special Bond.

He fears to take you in his Arms when you are just a month old, but the same He carries you on his arms when you are 10 from a late night journey; so that your sleep is undisturbed।

He will start scolding you for keeping books neatly, but the moment mummy jumps in the firing session; he will be the best support for you.

He celebrates your Birthday like a Festival in the House and is least bothered for his own birthday.

He never scolds you on your low performance in the exam, instead encourages you to do your best the next time.

You are hospitalized for a small cut, and he goes on a Low Blood Pressure.

Your smallest achievement will be his News For The Day, until you give him your next achievement.

Do any line quoted above; portray the magnificent person in your life? Yes I am here speaking about “Father – the great wall of Support for every daughter!”

Often said, quoted and experienced, Father’s share a special relation with his daughter. It is a very special bond, which exists between them. Birth of a girl child for a father is Heaven on Earth. He takes all the extra care for his girl child, which is possible for him. He becomes a shield between you and the society outside and in his own way he tries to show you the world. Here also he never hides facts from you but protects you from the ugly face of the world.

Here, neither I am trying to question the dependency of a female on a male; nor am I trying to state that girls need someone to protect them. The daughter may be able to protect herself in a much better way, but this does not stop the Father from Protecting.

Mummy may be the best friend for every daughter, but still she sees an icon in Her Father. He is the first Man in her life and he is the Best. She starts viewing every important male relation around her Father. As a child, if a sibling she wants her brother to be like her father. As a child, if single she wants her first kindergarten friend to be like him. As years pass, she strikes an emotional cord with her father. Later, when she finds the soul mate, she tends to match at least one quality of her father in that Special Person.

Still he is not the person who owns a Special day (viz. Father’s Day) celebrated for him. The way other relations have a day to celebrate as their day, Father’s Day is not that a grand affair. He is like the lamppost in every daughter’s life, which always shows the right direction.

Whenever a daughter thinks about her father, there is only one statement on her mind; “My Daddy Strongest!” This Blog is a Salute to every Father, who in all odds shares a special bond with her Daughter।

Please Note: My first Blog is a tribute to my Father who left the world on 11th December 2004. He was called by the GOD, may be HE also needed the Special Bond.

Friendship - A Mysteric Relationship

Friendship – A Mystic Relationship!

They say Friendship is the only relation we choose on Earth!!! But is this the case? Do we really choose friends or they are simply destined to meet us? We just walk our path and then people join us. Some became an integral part and some just walk with us, because our destinations are same. While in other case some help us find our way and some are our way.

We don’t plan anything in friendship. It can never be panned. Remember the good old days, when in school, the person sitting next to you was your best friend. This was the age, when we didn’t know what a friend is? What friendship means? But still we used to share each others lunch boxes, stationeries without even bothering to ask. We moved on together from one class to another with a feeling that this is the world. This is how we will always be together. Then the harsh fact slowly touches us, this is not the end but a mere beginning. We have to move to many other places, in the course of our education and later for profession. Every place we move we will be joined by new people with new relationships destined for us. As we grow, we miss the old days and just wish that they should come back. Many of us, at least once want to travel through the time machine to the best time of our life which is surrounded by friends. It is said that as god could not be everywhere so he created MOTHER; so it would not be an exaggeration if we say that GOD couldn’t send his angels down on earth so he created FRIENDS.

Friends are the eternal motivation; they provide you with the boost when you are down. They are a shoulder to cry, they are the perfect person to share happiness. Many a times it is difficult for us to tell something to family but such things come out naturally in front of a friend. Whenever you climb the ladder of success, they are the one who are happier than you. They express their joy by telling about your success to every other person they meet. In Marketing terms, they are your advertising man and they don’t see business in this but visualize relation. A learned person had said once, if in your life time, you have earned one friend, you have lived your life fully. One can’t count the selfless deeds done by a friend. Even the Bollywood is not untouched with the magic of friends. The box office was HIT “House full” when 3 friends lived their life and just gave a mantra to the new generation “Dil Chahta Hai!. Then a film came wherein through the making of history four friends fought for the justice of a friend who faced death. Whether it is the age old “Dosti” or the new awakening “Rang De Basanti”, every film tries to portray the commitment and the dedication involved in Friendship. In today’s modern age of telecommunication, contacting a person is not that difficult. With a click or ring we are beside our friend sharing all small things whether important or not, we just share. Remember the time we just call to a friend just to say “Hi, where are you?” The conversation takes us no where but it gives us the satisfaction that today also we don’t need a reason to talk to each other we just talk. As days pass we become occupied by our own chores and it is not possible always for a friend to be present beside us, who was always a shoulder to cry or hug to relax or a pat on the back on achievement. Still, we know that, whenever alone, a hand grabs ours and softly speaks in our ears “Don’t be afraid, I am Here, Always!”

The support of a friend gives us power to fight with the world. It is the force within which keeps us moving further and further till the land beyond the sky. No man can explain this in words, and the discussion goes on and on which leads us to a different land. A friend beholds a super natural power within which connects with us and may be because of this the relation, Friendship is a Mystic one!!!

On this occasion I would like to dedicate this small piece of my thought to all my friends who helped, motivated and supported me all through my life.
